Don Lino 1989 Robusto Maduro cigars are handmade in Santiago, the Dominican Republic. The U.S. Connecticut-wrapped style is medium in body, employing Brazilian, Dominican, & Cameroon longfillers in an Indonesian binder leaf. The smoke is creamy with nutty, toasty flavors. The box-pressed Maduro-wrapped version has a core of Colombian, Mexican, & Nicaraguan fillers in an Indonesian binder, yielding thick, full-bodied smoke that is sweet, with well-balanced flavors of coffee and chocolate.
