when I bought these cigar's I thought I would... morewhen I bought these cigar's I thought I would pass them out to my friend's but after enjoying a few of them I think I will keep them for myself. I sure would like to see them on sale again. this is one fine cigar!

I bought a 25 pack of these because they were... moreI bought a 25 pack of these because they were cheap & the reviews were good. I thought I could supplement my supply with these cigars & save some money. So far I'm not very impressed. They burn fast & to me taste about like cheap cigars you buy at a gas station. They are supposed to be mild(& I like full-bodied cigars), but they have a bitter, harsh, acrid taste. The 2nd one I tried to smoke I could never get to light right. I cut the end off twice to start over, but it would burn up 1 side. I ended up with a headache from trying to light it for so long & Finally I threw it away. In the future I think I will spend a little more & get some Punch cigars. Now there's a good cigar for not a lot of money.

Got this free with the purchase of the Famous... moreGot this free with the purchase of the Famous 1000 coronas. I tried to smoke one right out of the bundle and the outside almost wholly unwrapped. It also had an uneven burn. I let them sit overnight in the humidor and that worked wonders. The next few were terrific with an even burn through and nice mild flavor. More than I expected for a freebie!

At first, these were very green and unsmokabl... moreAt first, these were very green and unsmokable. The only plus was the sweet taste of the CT shade wrapper, but the filler was almost tastless, except for a bitter, nutty taste that just finished plain bitter. After 2-3 weeks, UNWRAPPED of course, in the humidor, the flavors blended and matured along with the cedar influence, and the taste was much more pleasant. I can forsee the flavor getting even better with age.

I recieved a free bundle of the lonsdale vers... moreI recieved a free bundle of the lonsdale version of these smokes. I agree with the 3 weeks in the humidor recommendation. By now Famouses stock should be 3 weeks plus. After a little aging I actually love the smokes. It's a nice change from the main streem. The first thing you will notice is the excellent quality of construction,(smooth and tight, if you like those poor quality loosly wrapped things from T.C). you wont like these. This cigar has a respectable burn. Not perfect mind you, but at least as goos as any other $125 dollar box cigar I've seen. One of the worlds best? No. But an excellent everyday smoker you will look forward too.

I still can't believe how good this cigar is ... moreI still can't believe how good this cigar is for the price. I hope they keep it this cheap. I can smoke these all day long. They burn nice, taste better than some cubans that I have smoked, and there is no way that you can beat this price. Very satisfied. Give them a try and you'll see.

these cigars improve with age. I would have r... morethese cigars improve with age. I would have rated them a 7 at best before aging for a year and then they were 9 in taste. Good value if you have the time and ability to age.
