"Fantastic cigar for the price"
Everything about this cigar is above-average. I grabbed a bundle on Cigar Monster about five months ago. At under $2 a stick these are an excellent everyday value. I was most surprised by the great construction. Long-time cigar smokers that give these cigars an unfavorable or mediocre review would seem to have forgotten the poor quality of most of the cigars that you get for under $2 at your local tobacconist.

"Not worth the trouble"
Bought these on sale in bundle of 20-4 were plugged, 3 were damaged and all but one unraveled apon lighting-the one that did survive was very good, so I paid 19 bucks for one stick lol..if you don't mind smoking a cigar with a busted wrapper then go for it. Sorry FSS it's only premium smokes from here on out.

"mild inexpensive smoke"
This cigar is milder than I expected and has a earthy flavor. A good cigar to set back and relax with, has a good even burn and stays lit well, but a bit too mild for my tastes.

"Good value"
These are pretty decent for the price. These also have a slightly sweetened tip. Good draw and consistency. If you are a daily smoker, these are good affordable smokes.

"Decent"
Pretty decent for an affordable, daily smoke. The sweetened tip takes a little bit of the edge off of the slightly bitter start.

"Sweet cap???"
I thought these had a sweet cap? When I think of a sweet cap, I think of the Acid Kuba Kuba or similar. I don't taste any sweetness to these. They do burn well though. I guess I can't complain for what I paid for these. Won't buy again though.

"Very good cigar"
I got my first Famous Nic 1000 Presidente's in the maduro wrapper in lat June 2009, and I'm more then pleased with them. Great draw with a wonderfully flavor. The appearance was also very good. I always clear my mind and pallet before smoking a new cigar for the first time. the only thing that disturbs me is that they are marked as not available. I hope this is corrected because they have become one of my favorite ever day cigar.

"I like"
Very nice cigar. It had a smooth draw not harsh at all. Great construction it burned even lots of thick aromatic smoke. Taste was every thing I had hope for with a bargain price cigar. I will buy more!!!!

"Suprisingly good"
In my search for a low cost everyday cigar I ran accross the Nicaraguan 1000 Robusto, saw the price and thought, what are they trying to push here. I read the reviews which were mostly positive and had to see for myself. I ordered a bundle and lit 1 up the day I got them. I made the mistake of using a punch cut. The wrapper seemed to tear at the top and this cigar was ruined. So I grabbed another and carefully with a double blade cutter made the cut. O.K. that worked. Fired it up. It had a nice easy draw, lots of beautiful white smoke. The burn was perfect, I finished the cigar and didn't have to re-lite or make any touchups. Nice white ash. I was very impressed. It seemed to me to be a mild to medium bodied cigar, nice spicy, slightly sweet with earthy undertones. Definitly the best value cigar I've tasted up to date.
