Famous Nicaraguan 3000 Toro
"Still a Favorite..."
October 13, 2007 I posted my comments on this cigar. Yesterday, 10/12/2009 I ordered two bundles, that says a lot. I've smoked over 200 cigars, some same label, some different, this one ranks among to top 10 EASILY. This is my go to cigar from now on.

Famous Nicaraguan 3000 Toro
"One of the best of ANY brand/line out there."
I think that the 4000 and 6000 series are excellent additions to the FSS line...they are special, like your birthday and Christmas respectively. The 3000's? IF ONLY they were consistantly available - but they come in only very occasionally (is there a 'consistancy' score to mark for THAT?). It makes these like a fantastic party you get invited to at the most maybe once a year...the best spirits, food, your favorite band or singer there just for you. It's magic! You wouldn't miss it for anything! And similarly, when the 3000's ARE there, behind the bar, on the table, whatever...if you don't take advantage...you're passing up something really special. The look, the aroma, the flavor, the denoument...they're all there. The price? OK let's talk money! It's RIGHT where it ought to be (heh, heh, heh)!

Famous Nicaraguan 3000 Presidente
"Still fabulous"
The latest release of these, circa 9/2009 is in stock now.
The Presidentes are still a fabulous cigar in every way. Awesome construction, great draw, razor sharp burn, and delicious. Medium plus to full bodied, loaded with spice, and a true joy to smoke. Thanks Famous for keeping the brand alive and well. And a huge tip of the cap for holding the line on price. Class move.

"nice smoke"
you would think price is why this cigar is attractive...until you smoke it. I have had a bundle aging for over a year and pulled one out tonight. the burn has been slow and consistent. the draw was a little tough at first (and i mean little), but in no time became very easy. the taste is very good, and price for price, it can stand with the big boys. excellent smoke, as i am sure you all know since supplies run out quickly.

"revisited...."
Just found one of these burried in my humi today, three years rest on it. Draw problems again (little smoke) for the first inch, then it opened up. Wonderful taste till the midpoint, then it got pretty boring. Then BOOM, what a finish of pepper. Of course I found and enjoyed this while Famous is outta these (again...).

Famous Nicaraguan 3000 Robusto 5 Pack
"FANTASTIC"
Wanted to try these because I enjoy the Famous Nic 1000 so much. This cigar is absolutely wonderful. Burns well, construction is right on, the aroma is enticing and the taste is spicy and potent. A great change if you smoke a lighter bodied stick and want something with a bit more umph. This cigar really delivers without being agressive. I will definately buy more.

"Best value to date!"
I don't know where to start but I was very pleased with my purchase of the Nicaraguan 3000 Toro. The flavor which was not overpowering had a nice spicy/peppery taste. The draw and burn was flawless. I'm pleased to say I've graduated from the five pack and my next purshase will be a bundle of these gems. Thanks again Famous!

Famous Nicaraguan 3000 Robusto 5 Pack
"A gem you may not have discovered!"
I bought a 5-pack to give this one a shot. Let me tell you right off the bat, this is an awesome cigar for what you are paying. There is just the right amount of "spice" to it, and is also rich in flavor. Great construction, fabulous burn and draw. I'm simply amazed that these at 2.09 a stick in a bundle are better than many premium cigars. Give these a smoke, they'll ALWAYS have a spot in my humidor. 8.75/10

"Great Cigar... Great Value"
I've been smoking cigars for a handful of years now. In that time I've built a collection of boxes of 'premium' cigars... some of my favorites being Pepin's, Litto Gomez, and Illusione. That being said- these cigars aren't cheap. Seeing as how I'm not the founder of Microsoft I've been searching for a good quality cigar that's under a few bucks. Time after time I've smoked exactly what I paid for... CRAP! UNTIL NOW!!! These cigars are EXACTLY what I've been looking for. There described genuinely and all of the positive reviews are dead on. Now I can enjoy a great quality cigar everyday, multiple times a day. I let my 'expensive' cigars age for special occasions, and to tell the truth; I don't even miss them!!! Great job Famous!
