"What a bargain"
Famous Nicaraguan Cameroon Toro
Just received my shipment...and WOW what a great cigar...especially for around a $1.81 each. Don't know who rated this one at 38...but I'd rate it much higher....in the 70's or 8o's at least. The draw is very easy and the flavor wonderful. I'd classify it as medium to full bodied. My irritation with some cigars is the draw. I've smoked $5 and $6 cigars with horrible draws...and no matter how tasty the cigar is...if the draw is bad then it is impossible for me to enjoy it. Way to go Famous...this is by far the best bargain on the net.

"very disapointed"
Famous Nicaraguan Cameroon Gordo
I won a bundle for cheap so didn't expect much.First the wrapper was or is non exsistant... paper thin....flaked off when I tried to cut...burn was uneven...wouldn't stay lit.
The old addage...you get what you pay for really came in to play here.

"A little ageing and wow....."

I too love my Nub 460 Cameroon but was lead to try this one by Famous and the cigar off the truck was so-so, kind of what I expected, it unwrapped a bit but the draw was wonderfull and the taste good. After 6 to 8 weeks in the humi and this cigar is a 'wonerful' smoke. Hard telling the difference between the Nub and this one and it creates tons of smoke. Burns straight (if you light it properly) has a variety of flavors and never gets hot or peppery. That makes it perfect for me. Gave one to a friend and he to is now a customer of Famous, were both re-ordering at this time. Keep it up Famous. Guys
'the price is right'!!! Get some while you can.

"tastes great, going to order more"
Famous Nicaraguan Cameroon Toro
I normally smoke NUBS. These were strangely similar at a third the price. I still stock my NUBS, but these get some of my attention also. Will buy again...

"A bland but smooth NIC/CAM"
Famous Nicaraguan Cameroon Petite Robusto
I love Cameroon wrapped cigars so when these were available and on sale I tried them. The nice looking wrapper was dry and rather fragile, crumbling when I trimmed the tip with a razor sharp guillotine cutter. Lit,it drew pretty well, but had some uneven burn, and went out several times. Halfway through, the flavor was medium, smooth, earthy Nicaraguan with just a hint of the Cameroon wrapper. There were no distinctive premium flavors of cedar or spice. The cigar was pleasant, but unexceptional. C

"Big disappointment"
Famous Nicaraguan Cameroon Torpedo
I disliked just about everything about this cigar except the price which didn't make up for the rest.

"Not a tight roll"
Famous Nicaraguan Cameroon Lonsdale
The Cameroon flavor is nice, medium...not as rich as the Nic 3000 at all. The roll was a bit light, a few of the bundle felt spongy and soft. So the draw was easy and they burned slightly fast as a result.

"Nice easy smoke"
Famous Nicaraguan Cameroon Torpedo
Easy smoking-very nice draw, seems to be rolled just a tad loose. Has the sweetness you would expect from a cameroon, very smooth.

"Fantastic"
Famous Nicaraguan Cameroon Rothschild
WOW, this is some smoke. Nice, solid, firm stick. Wrapper is pretty smooth with no big veins. Slightly sweet prelight taste. Draw is easy. Crisp, even burn with lots of flavorful smoke. Wonderful woody aroma.

Well after sending the 1st bundle back because 5 were cracked, I finally received my order. Like all my sticks i let it sit at least a week in the humi. Never had a rothy before but this box pressed cigar was well constructed. Lit it up and it had a kind of muddy taste at 1st but then really opened up to earthy and leathery, with a hint of spice. For a short rothschild it burned for about 90 mins. Some minor burn issues but these are going to sit until next spring. Not bad considering I got them on auction for 18 bucks compared to 40. For real these should be marked around 25 bucks to be fair. I know this is really going out on a limb, but for a moment this box pressed shorty reminded me of a Padron anniversary, I know, I know, maybe I was just buzzed but try them for yourself if you can get a good deal on them.
