"Outstanding Value"

These cigars are as good or better as many brands costing 2-3 times more, and they taste even better after some time in the humi! If you like Nicaraguan Maduros I highly recommend that you give these a try.

"Might want to skip this one"

This is not such a great Maduro. It didn't age well and the construction is poor. The burn is uneven. I've tasted a lot better. Filler is OK. There are better ones at this price.

I'm not a "Cigar Snob", but I've been smoking cigars for quite a few years. I started buying from Thompson, moved to JR, and have finally settled down with Famous. I've purschased from more than a few on-line sources and B&Ms along the way. I've spent no small amount on premiums and bundles; all the while looking for that "everyday" cigar and have smoked a lot of crap. So much crap in fact that it took me several weeks to get up the courage to try these. They arrived today in very good condition. They are well constructed with very few "soft" spots and present well. I smoked one right away and this review reflects that single experience. I will post an update after the bundle has had time to settle in the humidor. To me, this is a meduim full cigar leaning heavily to the full side. The first couple of draws were on the harsh side and very spicy but this very quickly gave way to that otherwise undefinable sweetish taste that Maduro smokers love. The draw was excellent with plenty of smoke. The burn was even and the cigar "healed" itself around the soft spots with very little effort on my part. A nice white ash indicative of a good Maduro that required a solid tap to dislodge after two - two and a half inches. The taste, burn, draw and construction were consistent to the end and I enjoyed smoking it down to a nub. Like I said, I will report back later but after this first one, I am hopefull that I have finally found my everyday (affordable) cigar.

Very good full bodied cigar. First time with these cigars and they were superb right out of the package. Different overtones at first, the middle and the end. Good to the last drop with no bitterness. Great price. Great through the nose. Mild to medium bodied cigar lovers will think this cigar is too full for their taste. I will purchase again and can't wait until these get even better in the humidor.

"What a smoke! Unbeatable for the price!"
Famous Nicaraguan Maduro Robusto
I was skeptical but after just one smoke I'm a believer. A bit bitter at first, this stogie smoothes out 1/4 of the way down with a firm white ash and plumes of white smoke. Full flavored without being harsh or bitter. I smoked it down to the nub and could have smoked another but I'm giving it a week in the humidor to see if the initial harshness goes away. Like I said, for the money these are phenomenal cigars.

"Very Good Maduro Cigar"

They say to try some and compare them to the maduros you are now smoking. That is what I did and to tell you the truth they are better and more consistant than most of the more expensive brands the taste really got me , just as constant from one cigar to the next great will buy more for sure

"Nothing like the others"

I fell in love with the Habano version that I had to try these. I received them a few weeks ago and am not very impressed... based on the quality of construction and wrapper. First thing worth noting is that the wrappers are all extremely fragile. These cigars are not wrapped very well either, there is a big inconsistency from cigar to cigar. As with every other cigar that was questionable, I'm going to finish the bundle. Not a bad smoke after a couple weeks in the humidor, but still a challenge to smoke due to the quality. Buyers beware, unless the cigar rollers get replaced or learn how to roll a better cigar.

This is a good smoke. A wonderful aroma; a nutty, coffee, chocolatey flavor. Lots of smoke with a somewhat loose draw. Construction is a little soft but still holds up well. Overall very satisfying at an excellent price.
