Famous Nicaraguan Maduro Churchill
"Very Tasty"
This is a good smoke. A wonderful aroma; a nutty, coffee, chocolatey flavor. Lots of smoke with a somewhat loose draw. Construction is a little soft but still holds up well. Overall very satisfying at an excellent price.

"Horrible, Heavily Dyed Stick"
I love this line in the Sungrown and Cammie wrappers, so I was excited when I won a 10 pack at auction. First thing I noticed is that the quality of these where no where near that of the other versions that I enjoy on a regular bases. The wrappers on these where very rough, and had a dull jet black finish that was obviously heavily dyed. Looked like they had been wiped down with charcoal or lamp black. I tried to smoke 4 of these over a period of 3 months, all with the same results. They where so tannic and mouth drying that I couldn?t get past the first inch, even with a full glass of water. Burn was bad and two where loaded with stems. I forced myself to go a couple inches on the last one, and it so scorched my palate that I couldn?t enjoy another smoke the rest of the day. The remaining six went into the trash. I can only hope that I was sent some mislabeled junk by mistake, as I?ve found this line in other wrappers to be top notch.

Gotta love these maduros........+1 on the flavor profile being just like the old "O's". Have had the Torpedo.....hoping that the Churchill is the same.

"Good taste, horrible construction"
I have to disagree with the majority here, at least regarding the construction. I do agree the taste, even the aroma, are surprisingly good for a bargain bundle. But the maduro wrappers are dry, flaky and awful. These are the only cigars I've ever had literally fall apart when I pick them up. Most are better than that, of course, but even the best of the maduro wrappers have been dry and no amount of time in my humi has brought them back to life. I highly recommend the Habano and Camaroon versions, but these maduros don't work for me.

"A wonderful surprise!"
Consistently fine smoke at a more than reasonable price...These have become a top favorite of mine since I tried them initially last year. Every time you reach for one you are assured of the same consistent quality.

"Sweeeeet!"
I have purchased three bundles and have nothing but good things to say. Smoke is thick and creamy. Taste is sweet almost chewable. Construction, I have yet to have a bad burn or one fall apart. Draw, now that is what I look for and this cigar draws as smooth as they come in the high end cigars. I will order this cigar when it is back in stock. Can you say Sweeet!

"Excellent!!!"
I have smoked the Churchill and Torp in this new line from FSS. Both are outstanding. Start with a deep dark brown wrapper with a nice oily sheen. Wrap it around a very well constructed (as is firm and uniform)and tasty blend, and bingo, we have a winner. These cigars draw real well, and burn razor sharp. The flavor profile is rich, deep and layered, with various spice notes, chocolate, and even a hint of vanilla. They build in flavor as they are smoked down, without ever getting hot. Medium to medium plus in body and good balance. They do indeed remind me very much of a favorite cigar with an "O" in the name.Another winner from Mr. Zaretsky and Team Famous. Great job guys, Thx!Great customer service too, as always!
