"Nothing like the others"
I fell in love with the Habano version that I had to try these. I received them a few weeks ago and am not very impressed... based on the quality of construction and wrapper. First thing worth noting is that the wrappers are all extremely fragile. These cigars are not wrapped very well either, there is a big inconsistency from cigar to cigar. As with every other cigar that was questionable, I'm going to finish the bundle. Not a bad smoke after a couple weeks in the humidor, but still a challenge to smoke due to the quality. Buyers beware, unless the cigar rollers get replaced or learn how to roll a better cigar.

"Outstanding!"
The catalog description sounds like they found these in an old shoebox in grandma's attic. And frankly, they did look a bit rough when I pulled them from the cello and popped them in the humidor. But after a only a few days on cedar, I gotta say I'm impressed. Burned very well, a good 75 minute robusto with no runs and solid ash. A strong maduro aroma (similar to Onyx), with a full, but not harsh/bitter flavor. Slightly sweet caramel, with lots of hazelnut/walnut flavor. A bit musty at the start (maybe they were aged in grandma's attic ?), but a great finish (never got hot even tho I nubbed it). Overall a great smoke.
