"A decent digar but no more"
It is a decent cigar. When first lit, it seems almost "airy." It seems loosely wrapped and it tends to burn fast. For lack of better words, it is not as "satisfying" a smoke as others in the same category. Cuban Rounds seem to be non-existant right now and they are a much better cigar. I'll keep searching for a better everyday cigar.

"A Tobacco Turd ! ! !"
In the rolling room of Flor De Olivia the floors are clean because every piece of dust and cut off tobacco is rolled in these 'cigars.' The longest filler was 3/4's of an inch! Horrible taste, buy cigarettes.

"I HAVE RETURNED"
After receiving some FDO's in a sampler several years ago, I thought, wow, this is a good cigar, no matter the price. Ordered a bundle of robustos. Then reordered, several times. As time went by, I was tempted to try other brands (sound familiar ?).Stayed with some for a while, but would come back to the FDO brand. They remained consistant as always, but I still continued to experiment with other tempting brands. Some, quite a bit more expensive, others not so. My bottom line here, is that "I personally" don't think I have found a cigar (bundle or box), that can compare to an FDO. We all know, however, that taste is a subjective thing. So this whole thing is just my opinion. I'm sure that there are some $10 or $15 dollar sticks out there that would compete with the FDOs, but at four or five a day, I'M NOT EVEN TEMPTED. As someone we all know said, "Happy Smokes"!!

"So many others wish they could be this consistent"
10 years ago, after smoking a Flor De Oliva, I predicted this cigar line would one day be revered in smoke shops around the world. And I was right, for a change. Months later this inexpensive beauty received rave reviews in Cigar Aficionado. The Flor De Oliva is old school, before triple ligero anything, when a solid smoke didn't have to cost $5 to $10 dollars to be praised. Yet even a decade ago, I couldn't figure out why Oliva didn't charge more for this perfectly blended, "everyday smoke." Today, even with Oliva's great marketing success with their other premium lines, their flagship Flor De Oliva is still the same price. And my hat is off to them. Their original pricing is a tradition they proudly uphold and it honors their loyal customers, so please don't mistake this cigar as average. Flor De Olivas are grown and made by masters. They are as delicious today as they ever were. An everyday smoke? Absolutely. But that's no cut down. It just means they are a traditionally constructed cigar, tasty and balanced without being overpowering and heady. And it means they are dependable. Oliva is one of the few cigar lines that you can count on to be consistently tasty, bundle to bundle, box to box, year to year. In my opinion, a humidor needs a lot of different styles of cigars in it so you can choose the one that fits your mood. But if you don't have Flor De Olivas in the mix, you are really missing an experience that harkens back to the great cigars of the 90's and the traditional cuban style.

"viva FDO"
Ok, Ok, I have seen some negative reviews about FDO lately. At 37 bones with shipping Yeah they are on the steeper end of bundle smokes, Yes they have changed as of late. Compared to my last bundle these looked totally different. Darker wrapper, a little thinner, and lumpy.I know the smokes will change by the lot, but this is like a totally differnt smoke. I sure hope it taste the same.I was lucky to snatch a bundle for 30 bucks on the monster.I am in no way ungrateful and am always appreciative towards FDO. I am a cheap bastard and these are good enough for me. For the haters, well dont buy them. That will just mean more for me!

"Lotta hype!"
There has been a LOT of hype about these cigars over the past few years, and I often see the bands of the cigars in a lot of articles I read online, cigar related or not. I bought a bundle to try it myself. I don't know if anything has changed or not, but I did notice that they recently reduced them to 20 cigar bundles. Amongst the other downers to these cigars is that they seem to all have a LOT of stems if the plant in the cigars. They also burn rather quick.
When it gets down to it, I do enjoy the hint of "sweetened" cap. By no means is it a favorite cigar, but I have and will continue to smoke the rest them because they are cheap and are an ok smoke for being cheap. Decent mild/medium smoke and worth a try. It's a 75 in my book.

"not like they used to be"
Something appears to have changed in the assembly of these cigars. The construction is not nearly as good as it has been in the recent past. I've been smoking these off and on for the past 5 or 6 years and the last couple of bundles were disappointing. The taste was still good but there were several of them that I could easily have smoked without punching or cutting the head. I could draw through the holes on and around the cap.

"Great smoke"
This is a great smoke..I'm on my second bundle.. It's a bit tough on the draw at times and the burn a bit sketchy but
overall a very enjoyable smoke..I'll be buying more...

"No better at this price"
You won't find anything better than this cigar at this price. A good honest 90 minutes in paradise for 2 bucks. What more could you ask for?
