La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero cigars were introduced in 2003 using a powerful blend of Dominican longfiller and binder leaves finished in silky Ecuadorian wrappers that shimmer with a dark and oily patina. This selection also includes the 'outstanding' rated 'Chisel' wedge-shaped head cigars handcrafted in your choice of a dark natural or an even more savory Maduro wrapper leaf. Flavors of wood and coffee bean dominate with sweet notes on a long, spicy finish. In a word: Awesome!

This is one of my favorite cigars and the best in the LFD Double Ligero line. The La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero Chruchill Especiale Oscuro takes as long to smoke as it does to say. It's full of flavor, but don't let the smooth taste fool you. You can tell from the pre-light that this is not a cigar for a newbee or or a mild-medium smoker. The leather, pepper and earth can initially mask the power of the ligero binder and filler. But what I like best is the added richness of the oscuro wrapper. This is a handsome, well constructed, even burning smoke that you will love. If you can handle it!less

For sitting outside next to the pool on a summer night with a nice cup of coffee, after a great BBQ, the Especiales caps off the night just right. Flavor is consistent, draws and burns nicely all the way down with hardly any bitterness at the end. A favorite!less

This has to be one of the biggest disappointments of my cigar purchasing life. Not only do the majority of these over-priced cigars fail to remain lit, they burn so hot I simply douse them with water and throw them away. I would say that about 75% of the one's I have smoked so far have been garbage. Every once in awhile I get a good one. I'm just glad I only bought one box of these disasters. I thought that after 2 months in the humidor they would be better... nope. I get way better cigars for half the money. My suggestion is to save your cash for something else. less
Rating Our Cigars When viewing the page for a specific box or bundle of cigars, you'll notice a "Customer Ratings" section below the Description/Reviews section. This is your chance to rate the cigar according to six criteria: Burn, Consistency, Draw, Appearance, Taste, and Construction.
