"short filler masterpiece?"
These conn shade wrappers deliver a decent amount of smoke but virtually no taste to them. the construction is lousy which is expected with any of the La Vieja line of cigars as they will all have hot spots and canoe cause these are rolled by the worst rollers drew estates employs. the smoke itself is lousy tasting kinda resmebling that of a white owl which may have the same blend of tobaccos. its truly amazing these boxes sell for more than $20 on auctions, as the winners will realize what losers they are soon as they open up this box of crap and begin trying to enjoy this cigar. if your expectations are remotely high, you'll feel ashamed you bought these cigars.

"Don't let the cheap price and packaging fool you!"
I've smoked some $15 mild cigars that were not half as good as these. I am leaving them in the humidor for a while though. I have a good feeling that these will get much better by spring.

"Greatest cigar on the planet????"
These are great smokes! on 2nd box and have yet to be disappointed! i'm almost ready for a 3rd. i've tried all the other $5-10 bigger brand names, and i cant find one as good as this smoke. i buy them at a local shop for just about the same price about 1.30 a stick. i don't know why these aren't in everybody's humidor.

"Great mild cigar with a great price"
I bought a box of these without ever trying them. I have enjoyed other more expensive Drew Estate cigars, so I thought I'd give them a try. What a great purchase. I like these cigars better than some of the more expensive mild cigars I've purchased in the past. They have a nice creamy flavor and a real even burn. These will be a staple in my humidor for as long as I can buy them.

"Beautiful cigar"
I had the opportunity to sample one of these new La Vieja Habana Connecticut cigars recently and to look at it I was blown away at its beautiful construction. I was a big fan of the last batch of La Vieja Habana as my "bundle" price smokes- but I always enjoyed them as much as some of the pricier ones. I think this is an upgrade in the area of construction- a real beauty. The taste was smooth and creamy- not incredibly complex, but much better than the price these go for. I'm looking forward to trying the Cameroon and Maduro versions!
