Montecristo Platinum #3
"Wonderfully full flavored"
I was looking for a good smoke that wouldn't cost $8-12 a stick and I believe I have just found it. These are wonderfully full flavored, spicy with a hint of leather. Amazing flavor for such a small cigar. I'll be getting a box!

I decided to buy these based on the reviews. Big mistake! No taste, poor draw, lousy burn. waste of money. And these are supposed to be a cut above.

Montecristo Platinum Petite #2 (4)
"Pretty Pretty Pretty Good"
Had one of these the other night ... my friend had a 4 pack. He said that they are now discontinued. If that is true it is a shame. The closest smoke that I could compare them to is the Oliva Serie O Petit Perfecto.

"So Very Smooth and Rich"
I have had kept these big mamas in my humi for years. I remember when they use to come in the ceramic jar. You can't beat the Mexican wrapper. It's really great! A very rich and balanced cigar. Lots of good smoke, too. Delicious.

"they are ok"
this is a ok cigar does not compare to the white label. I had to get my paddle out for a couple. the taste is good the draw is not. let them sit for a while they seem to get better.

this is one of my all time favorites. great smoke for on the way to work or after lunch. small enough for fast enjoyment. big on everything else. this ages very, very well. so by the box the best deal around for a premium.

This had a very good flavor all around. The best Monte Cristo I have smoked so far. Vintage 1999 a good year.

Montecristo Platinum Toro
"not what I expected"
I smoked 4 Montecristo Platinums (Toro) to give it a fair chance, but I am sad to say I was a bit disappointed. This cigar does not hold a candle to the Montecristo Whites. Maybe I was just expecting it to be like the Whites with a little more kick. The draw and aroma were fine, but the taste and burn were not. On a scale from 1 to 10, I give it a 4. The Platinum will not get a spot in my Humidor again. I'll stick to the Whites which in my opinion are the best in the world!

Montecristo Platinum #1
"the #1; good and bad"
I smoked the #1 platinum and had a difficult with the draw; seemed plugged. The taste was good within the last 4 inches. The aroma was excellent and the burn was very good. It is similar in taste and aroma to other Monte's I have had.
