Montecristo #3
"Superb!"
So far the best cigar I have ever tasted. As mentioned before, a cigar is like wine: can be discussed, but not argued. It is a matter of taste after all has been said and done. This cigar is very mild, consistent to the end, easy draw, etc. It is not really cheap, but then offers very good value for money spent. If you do not mind $5 for a stick, then go for it!

Montecristo Churchill
"great taste draw size and shape"
don t know what those guys were smoking, but for my money, these were classic monte's: great taste, draw, and while not inexpensive, great value

"Great flavor! Best cigar!"
Great flavor and best cigar! I have smoked others and they are awful if you even accidentally inhale! Not these, they are great!

Montecristo 5 Cigar Toro Pen Gift Assortment
"Awesome Sampler, Great Price. Quality!!!!"
I just opened it today. The cigars are all top of the line and in perfect condition. The gift box and packaging are amazing. No cheap plastic inserts. Cigars fit safely into the soft foam cutouts. The pen/cutter is great. Nice solid, heavy, metal construction. The ink seams to be replaceable when needed. All around great sampler for you or as a gift.

Montecristo #2 Torpedo
"Certainly good but overpriced"
I smoked a Monte #2 last night that I'd been saving for a special occasion. To my taste, it was nearly identical to the RyJ Habana Reserve torpedoes. The RyJs happen to be my favorite cigar as of right now, so the Monte was a good smoke, but I expected more given how much these go for.
I suspect that if I had had the Monte first the RyJ just wouldn't live up to it, so thank God I'm cheap.

Montecristo Robusto 5/4
"Disappointed"
This was my favorite cigar. Now they have cut it doen to 4 1/4", but still call it a 5" cigar. It's not worth the price

Montecristo #2 Torpedo
"Stopped smoking after one-half inch"
I paid $12 for a stick at a store because I had heard and read so much about the famous Montecristo #2, how smooth and mellow it was, how tasty it was. Wow, was I disappointed! No smoothness, no creaminess. Instead, bad (read: difficult, tight) draw, strong peppery aftertaste, spongy construction. After one-half inch I was fed up, put the stick down, and bought myself a Rocky Patel Olde World Reserve to get the bad taste of the Montecristo #2 off my palate. Rocky does not disappoint. The nastiness of the Montecristo #2 was soon just melting away as I was really enjoying the flavors of the RP Olde World Reserve.
