My Father 1922 Le Bijou cigars are handmade in Nicaragua. While the original My Father was made secretly by Don Pepin's son Jaime, Le Bijou is Don Pepin's homage to his own father, born in 1922. French for the jewel, Le Bijou lives up to its billing! Notoriously difficult to grow, Pelo de Oro wrapper leaves (dubbed Nicaraguan Habano Oscuro) cloak a well-aged, full-bodied blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos. A sweet, creamy start gives way to some spice and bold tobacco flavor. A must-try!

This is a nice little cigar but it is far too over hyped. The ratings are accurate until you come to the section on taste. There is nothing much to complain about over all except the flavor is nothing to really chase after. The draw, construction, burn, etc are all 10/10 but flavorwise it s lacking. less

Love the JJ series by Pepin, which I smoked shortly after the Le Bijou stick, however from the second I fired up the Bijou I never stopped talking to "myself" about how great the cigar was and quickly forgot about the JJ series. If you like a spicey, sweet, earthy cigar that is packed with flavor this is a must try. My only critique is that the Le Bijou did not burn evenly and a good amount of touch-up was required. Nevertheless, I have found another go to cigar!!!less
Rating Our Cigars When viewing the page for a specific box or bundle of cigars, you'll notice a "Customer Ratings" section below the Description/Reviews section. This is your chance to rate the cigar according to six criteria: Burn, Consistency, Draw, Appearance, Taste, and Construction.
How well did this cigar burn?
Do these cigars perform consistently?
Was the draw good? Too loose or tight?
How did the cigar look?
How was the flavor and aroma of the cigar?
How well was the cigar rolled?
Rate the cigar from one to ten (Poor to Excellent) by clicking the bar at the appropriate number. Once you've selected a rating for all six categories, click "Submit Your Ratings." If you submit more than one rating per cigar, your latest rating will overwrite your previous rating.
You'll then see a link to write a review. You can rate any cigar in our humidor. Please note that numerical ratings are FOR CIGARS ONLY. Have fun!
