Oliva Serie V Torpedo
"Almost perfect!!!"
The Oliva Serie V Torpedo is almost as good as it gets towards perfection! I purchased a box last year based upon all the ratings hype and so when I when I lit up my first one I was ready for disappointment (as many of the Cigar Aficianado's highly rated digars have not panned out for me in the past). It never came. These beauties are excellent in every possible pleasurable smoking manner. I would stack these with the top Cuban cigars (I often travel to Europe), but at a fraction of the price and legally available in the US. You will be exceptionaaly happy with this purchase without any reservations. A 10/10, all around smoke!

Oliva Serie V Belicoso
"Very Enjoyable -- Excellent Flavor and Draw"
I smoked a couple of these before I purchased a box here on Famous-Smoke.com. The cigars arrived ready to smoke right out of the box. (Some brands have required a settle in period before they reach the proper moisture content). The flavor is very robust and complex. The construction is keeping in family with what I expect from the Oliva line of cigars. Even burn from start to finish. The aroma of these cigars is outstanding. I'm really glad I found a cigar that consistently satisfies like these little darlings. I hope you enjoy them too! If you like these I would recommend the Nub Maduro cigars as they are very similar except they tend to draw just a bit better.

"Excellent taste...great cigar."
Great smoke anytime -- on the golf course, walking the dogs, cooking steaks on the grill! occasionally will get a "tunnel" but with a relight, problem solved.

Oliva Serie V Lancero
"Outsatnding, Full of Flavor"
I can't get enough of this full flavored beauty. Although lanceros are known to be problem prone, I have not had any with this great cigar. Nicely constructed with perfect burn and woody, spicy, meaty taste.

"just do it!"
Do yourself a favor and buy one smoke it enter the gates of heaven and then pass on the experience to someone else. I truly believe if every one in the world had one we would have a utopia. It is almost perfect on all accounts.

Oliva Serie V Double Toro
"I always come back to this cigar, very good"
I have tried all of the Oliva series V and find this one to be the best. I enjoy a 6X60 and compared to Perdomo, Punch, Rocky Patel , etc. I find it to be the most consistent and enjoyable.

"Doesn't live up to hype. Uninteresting flavor."
Tried one... not blown away. Tried a 2nd, and my opinion was confirmed.
Wonderful construction, great burn, but I have to say that the flavor is simply one-dimensional and uninteresting. I suppose it can be called full-bodied, but there is nothing complex that lingers on the palate. And the nose is also weak. Almost has a "dry" taste. Disappointing.
Compare it to, say, an Alec Bradley MAXX, or Hoyo de Monterrey, or Rocky Patel Edge. All of these full-bodied smokes have more complex, rich, and interesting flavor and nose... and for less money.
Good smoking!

Oliva Serie V Double Robusto
"My new Favorite"
I have smoke several more expensive cigars but for the money these just can't be beat. Always burns and draws good and great flavor. My only complaint is that they are limited and can be hard to find at times. Must try.
