Right out of the box the cigar lights, burns,... moreRight out of the box the cigar lights, burns, draws and smells nice. Construction is rather rough, dare I say a bit dry?. Burn is somewhat fast but proper of its size. A strong charred taste develops rather quickly, perhaps some more time is required in the 'dor. We'll see. Nevertheless a nice cigar to enjoy with a great price.

I am a big fan of 5000 maduros. Padron makes ... moreI am a big fan of 5000 maduros. Padron makes awesome smokes. The first Padron panetela that I had was disappointing. I wanted the same experiance as I had with the 5000. After I got rid of that incorect assumtion, I began to appreciate this great smoke as a panetela. The box press makes this a very unique panetela. It admittabily makes it a bit tight on the draw but if you take your time this slim delight you will be rewarded. The trick is slow down, ENJOY!
