Padron Serie 1926 #1
"The best cigar you'll ever smoke"
Agreed. This cigar is 10x better than any cuban you can find. The absolute pinnacle of cigar smoking. The best cigar you will ever smoke is right here. Spend the money, and smoke this sucker. You won't regret it.

"Truly the Best Cigar I've had"
I bought a handful of these cigars to smoke and share for my college graduation. This is truly the best cigar I have smoked. I have had Opus X, Davidoff, Patel Decade, Black Dragon, Partagas 160, Cohiba, and at least something from pretty much every major brand; the Padron 80 Anos is easily the best. There is no other cigar currently on the market that is as complex.

"Harsh Taste, and Too Costly!"
Yesterday I purchased a Padron 1926 80th Anniversary cigar. It cost $33, and I was very disappointed. I don't mind a strong smoke, but I this smoke had a harsh after taste. I was expecting a smooth taste for that kind of money.
I do not recommend this smoke, and would not purchase it again.

"Celebration"
On this day of the Kentucky Derby, $20 on a 50-1 horse! Yes Yes Yes. Wow, A day for this and my first time smoking it. Gorgeous, first thing i am doing with the winnings is buying a box for my humidor. Thank you lord Jesus!

"Sooooo Good"
I Had a Padron serie 1926 #9 maduro earlier in the week and since then I've been dying to try this. It had only been in my humidor for 5 days but it felt fine, so I tried it. It is a fantastic little cigar. The natural started off slightly spicy then gradually softened to a more subtle but wonderful tobacco aroma and taste with creamy chocolate notes. I like a cigar that satisfies without overpowering leaving me looking forward to the next one and that is what these babies do. My hat is off to Senor Padron for the best two cigars that I have had in one week.

Padron Serie 1926 #9
"Worth the price"
I have smoked many different brands, series and sizes. I have been disappointed by most so called ultra premium cigars. In my humble opinion very few Gurkhas, for example, stand above a regular Montecristo, Punch or Macanudo though they are extremely high priced. The Padron Serie 1926 #9 along with Davidoff Millenium and Opus X are each unique and full flavored without being harsh. Smooth blends that are a real treat to smoke, they are worth setting aside for a special occasion when you have the time to thoroughly enjoy them and maybe treat someone who loves a great cigar. I'm not great at breaking down all the nuances of flavor but I love the richness of what seems like expresso and almonds to me. The burn and draw are close to perfect. The strength was satisfying without being overpowering, just a great smoke.

"#2 Cigar of the Year"
According to Cigar Aficionado, this the second best cigar of 2008. This cigar came in second only to a cigar that's reasonably priced and hard to find. It had the highest overall rating of 96, which beat out all it's Cuba competitors. Padron is still king!!!

Padron 40th Aniversary 1926
"Stands Proudly Among the Finest."
One may wince at the price, but these cigars have a life all their own. These cigars are really flawless, pair with a well-aged single malt after a fine evening's meal, and feel bliss. I received a box for my birthday awhile back and i had just finished dinner, enjoyed a refreshing shower, and sat in my favorite chair with a glass of the finest and a Wodehouse book. It was an evening of bliss. The smoke achieves incomparable smoothness with a bold flavour. The balance between these two (and it compromises nothing) is the hallmark of a truly fine cigar. It is a smoke for special occasion, to be savoured lovingly. Though the price is steep, you'll know where your money went.
