Spanish Rosado San Agustin
"One of my favorites"
Spanish Rosado Familia
After getting one of these from my local smoke shop, I immediatly came online and ordered a box from Famous. Full flavored and full strength, this is a cigar for the slightly more experianced smokers. I've smoked about 15 so far, and each one has been near flawless. Excellent construction, burn, draw... the works. About the only thing that might turn some smokers off with this cigar is the heavy "mexican" flavor. But Partagas is known for that anyway.

"A Regal Cigar"
Spanish Rosado San Agustin
This cigar is absolutely gorgeous. The draw, burn, and ash were first rate. I found it was a little more on the medium side but was still very flavorful. The cigar showed wonderful hints of spice, cocao, and coffee while the finish was long and pleasant. I did not notice any biterness. It could have been a little more complex for me, but that is just a matter of personal taste. Highly recommended with a medium bodied bourbon such as Knob Creek or a nice Remy Martin VSOP Bourbon. The XO might be a little powerful.

"Not What I Am Used to from Partagas"
Spanish Rosado San Agustin
I have been a Partagas smoker for 10 years or so, and have loved all of their releases until the Spanish Rosado. I just finished a box and while the smoke itself is above average in terms of flavor, it is sub standard on other levels. The flavor is fruity with hints of cocoa and chocolate and is very smooth, the finish however can be harsh. The construction and appearance are wonderful but they are misleading. The draw is very disappointing, it is extremely tight (it is better with a punch cut or end cut, rather than a diamond cut) and has tendency to burn unevenly due to the draw problems. After what I am used to from Partagas this was not a great experience.

"Very good cigar"
Spanish Rosado San Agustin
I just got the 54's sampler and this cigar was in it. I had it this morning after breakfest and was very pleased. It tastes very chocolatey and burned nice. I think I will order a bax - I was very happy with this cigar.

"Perhaps Best Valued non-Cuban Cigar"
Spanish Rosado San Agustin
As a Canadian, I enjoy smoking Cuban cigars anytime I want and my Humidor is always well stocked with Cubans. Therefore, you can believe me when I tell you that the Partagas Spanish Rosado San Agustin is a worthy adversary to my regular Cuban Cohibas, Monte Cristos and Trinidads. The Partagas Spanish Rosado San Agustin is one of the few non-Cuban cigars that I enjoy, as it is always well constructed, with a great taste, draw and burn. Truly a pleasure to smoke.

"Shouldn't hold the same name as the famous Cuban."
Spanish Rosado Familia
I must say that a tear almost formed in my eye after trying this cigar. I tried one right out of a full box. It had a horrible burn the taste was pure Dominican Partagas. I feel that they should stick to the cubans and quit flooding our market with this American style cigar.

"Excellent flavor, smooth, very well done"
Previous Next
Partagas has done a very nice job with this Spanish Rosado cigar. Excellent flavor, and you dont have to go searching for it either. The flavor is pronounced & tangy, but tangy without any bite nice and smooth. Nice burn, nice draw, excellent construction, and good consistency.---------------- Just for the sake of comparison, Im extremely jaded, and even though this cigar is one of the more flavorful selections on the market, Im looking for more flavor (bring on the 60 ring gauge). For those who prefer a milder cigar, this cigar might not be for you at all it may very well be just too much. But for those who prefer a fuller flavor experience, you might just fall totally in love with it. Either way, if youre used to bigger flavor, or if youre looking to see what bigger flavor is all about, I consider this stick a must try.
