"reminiscent of old havana....."
not since cohiba has a cigar been so capable of capturing pre embargo smoking pleasure! piloto cubano, sawdust, and habano seed long fillers are meticulously wrapped in a mix of 10 yr. old cameroon and recycled manilla envelopes by phillies own cuban trained torcedores in a state of the art plantaion in metro pennsylvania. a great stick for the beginner or the seasoned afficianado who is craving a more complex smoke.

"Bottom of the barrel"
I used to smoke these in college and could never make through more than half of one. I think you'd be better off smoking the discarded ends of premium cigars than these nasty sticks.

"Gives cigars a bad name"
ok... So I'm concerned someone will smoke a Phyllies Blunt and think it is a "real" cigar. Not so. Phyllies, as the price indicates, is a cheap brand of tobacco. Do not expect them to taste good. Ashy and terrible. Although the previous comments about them making good weed smoking implements is right. Get one, throw away the inside tobacco, and replace with weed. Only then is a Phyllies Blunt tolerable.

"Excellent choice for the infrequent smoker"
I chose this cigar mainly because of the name and being a Phillies baseball fan. I am an infrequent smoker, about once a month, as of late. This is a great, mild smoke, that I can handle and the taste is great. An extremely great taste, that won't cost you a lot of money, and a strength you can handle when you are not a frequent smoker. Other cigars I have tried actually would make me sick since I am not used to it. And at the low cost if they sit around and go bad, there is no harm done. I am on my first Phillies pack, so I never had any go bad, but I have had others that I have forgotten about, spent a few dollars on, and when I had the thought to smoke it, it had gone bad. The manufactured wrapper however, will give away that you are smoking a low cost cigar, if you are trying to look cool, but for me, I do not care.

This is just about the worst cigar I have ever smoked. If you were even thinking about buying Phillies Blunts then you should just go die. Unless you are goin to use them to smoke weeeeeeed!!!!!!!!!!
