Primo Del Cuba Corona Candela cigars are made by hand with a mild to medium bodied blend of all Honduran-grown filler tobaccos and extra light-tasting Candela (Jade) wrappers. Good all-around flavor, expert Plasencia factory quality and low price make these cigars a good all-around value, too.

I guess that's how it is with very mild or ve... moreI guess that's how it is with very mild or very strong cigars: you love 'em or hate 'em. I happen to like this one as a change of pace. Given other comments I have heard I guess i'm a bit of an oddball for preferring milder cigars at night. I hate a strong aftertaste in the morning. This cigar will not give you one. It lights and draws well. I was able to get about 1 1/2 inches of ash. Even burn. Smooth, mild taste. I punched mine and when I had just under 2" left the flavor and all started to run more towards a medium smoke. Of course by then the draw was getting quite warm and the unsmoked part was getting mushy.
All in all a nice mild smoke, if you happen to like mild smokes. If not, don't bother with this one.

Got a bundle of Claro Coronas on auction. At ... moreGot a bundle of Claro Coronas on auction. At $15 for 25 I couldn't be happier. I like a nice mild Cigar every now and then. I don't know about the other wrappers but in my opinion this is just as good of a claro as the A. Fuente, but much cheaper. And as far as for the consistency, I've had five so far and every one drew well and burned well, with a decent mild flavor. I'd probably be willing to buy another bundle at regular price when I run out.

"These vary in quality a lot "
I keep re_visiting these as I have them scatt... moreI keep re_visiting these as I have them scattered around different places. A couple of years ago they floated my boat then the next were only average, now the latest bundle just have no flavour at all. I still crave a Candela like the old Don Tomas babies.As a cheap smoke there are better at Famous but keep them for a while if you have the space and see if they do it for you.
