"looks were deceiving"
got these in a free sampler about a year ago and spotted them in one of my humidors. looked good, fair/mediocre flavor in the beginning, then started tasting like i don't know what, and got skanky about two thirds through. i don't ditch many cigars, but i did this one. if the ground wasn't frozen outside, i'd have buried them. oh well. sorry FS, another lump of coal for your stocking.

"Primo for the Dinero"
These will be in my humidor just pretty much forever. Of all the el-cheapo cigars I have tried, in my quest to find a truly good 'cheap' cigar, these have been head-and-shoulders above the rest. Fairly good burn, good draw and an absolutely fine flavor. Don't discontinue them, Famous, now that I'm 'hooked'!

"Hey for a little over a buck..."
I found Primo's to be remarkably ordinary with a hard draw and uneven burn, the appearence is blemished. I must say I did find one or two that were simply satisfactory, yet the name Primo de Cuba manages to keep my wifes' less than knowledgable humidor raiding friends out of the Cohiba's and Partaga's underneath. For about a buck a pop it's worth it to keep around, if for no other reason than to keep "guests" from smoking your quality smokes. (Ok so this may be a less than honest practice toward my spouses friends but hey, ya gotta do, what ya gotta do)

"Average only"
IT might be me but these are just like giveaway american market cigars that dissapointed compared to others in the same range. They are reasonable construction for the price but very harsh with no style.
Shame.

"Great taste, construction & consistency"
This cigar is worth several times the sale price. It has a firm, silvery-white ash; great construction and taste, slow-burning with oodles of white smoke. Leaves a pleasant sensation on the palate with peppery notes.

"The Great Pretender"
This Cigar has nothing going for it except the price. In apperence it is veiny and blemished, it smokes in a uneven manner with a gray flaky ash, and with a hard draw it still has no taste.
If you want a cigar buy a cigar anyway you view it they are for people who like to pretend at enjoying a good cigar. Not worth the price and it was cheap!
