"Tasty..Lucious..ok, I am outa words..."
Puros Indios Chief
I feel the need to give this cgr a review as to date, there is none..Rolando Reyes Sr has always been my favourite guy and his blending is something I can only sum up in one word - FANTASTIC!!! I have been smoking a good number of the Bronco Maduro and even though its a long smoke, I just cannot get enough of it. It's big, a little rough lookin but really, really tasty. I encountered only very minor burn issues but the taste compensates for it. If you like a slow lucious smoke, this will be up your street.

"Very huge Cigar"
Puros Indios Chief
I have one of these aging and I want to fire it up but I am unsure how to cut the cap. A 66 ring is pretty huge. Perhaps a punch will work best with this baby since the draw pressure will be critical to get a good burn.

"THE JOKE WAS ON ME"
Puros Indios Especial #4
I BOUGHT THIS CIGAR AS A FUN JOKE FOR A FAMILY REUNION BUT AFTER MY BROTHER AND ME TO, STARTED SMOKING IT THE JOKE WAS ON US. THIS IS A GOOD CIGAR THE DRAW IS GOOD AND BURNS WELL. THE TASTE IS SWEET AND NUTTY AND GETS BETTER DEEPER INTO THE SMOKE. ITS A LONG SMOKE THAT IS WELL WORTH THE PRICE.

"Great Aroma"
Puros Indios Especial #1
There is something about these Ecuadorian wrapped cigars, i.e. Rocky Patel, Aurora 1495 and the Puros Indios. Outstanding aroma (which should be a seperate judging catagory from taste). Please put these in the humidor 2-4 weeks before smoking. Even better after a month. They re-season quickly and smoke delightfully at that point. A little rough on the wrapper (big-deal), even burn, with an easy draw. Copious amount of smoke with a wonderfully attractive aroma, pleasant taste without bitterness afterward. Simply an outstanding smoke for a modestly priced cigar. Competes easily with the big name, big priced cigars. This is in my top five.

Puros Indios Toro Especial
This has been my favorite cigar for the past few years. Well constructed, good consistancy and excellent taste. Have been keeping it a secret!

"Fan-Freakin-Tastic"
Puros Indios Piramide #3
This is by far the absolute best cigar I have ever had. Great taste, even burn, good draw, and the aroma is what a cigar should smell like. My hat is off to Senor Reyes for making the most enjoyable smoke ever. I highly recommend this cigar to all people who appreciate a dang good smoke!

"EH!! Not impressed yet."
Puros Indios Toro Especial
Just got the box from the auction and did they look good. I had to have one right away so I cut about a 3/8" cone off the tip and lit it. I thought my sweater had caught fire. The smell was not what I would have expected from any Puros cigar. It was like wool on the tongue. I toughed it out and hoped it would improve but was disappointed. I'm going to let the rest age in the humidor for a few months because the date on the wrapper was 3/3/06 and I'm not sure if that was the day they were rolled or the day they were just boxed. If they get better with age I'll be the first to let you know and retract this. "Dog Rocket" was a good assessment for the first sample of these cigars.

"Rolando Reyes Sr., Is there anything else to say"
Previous Next
Any CIGAR made by Rolando Reyes Sr. from the Puros Indios lines to the Roly's is a fine fine stick. I find that if I take my time slowly drawing in a mouth full of that flavorful & aromatic smoke and slowly releasing it. Its more of an expierence than it is something Iam doing. Well just TRYING to explain..... I must go expierence one A Double Maduro Toro Especial bye now and THANK YOU Mr. Reyes
