"Nice cheap smoke..."
.....But well worth the money. My favorite morning sitting in traffic with a cup of coffee cigar. Short burn time and for such a small smoke good flavor.

"My favorite RP"
Not a huge Rocky fan in the first place, but I like The Edge and these Juniors. I'm writing this review mostly because I want to clarify a couple of things for prospective buyers:
1. This is a very good tasting small cigar. It is well-made and the cedar box it comes it is very nice. The lid slides out, so don't try to pull it straight up as if it had a hinge because it doesn't have one.
2. There is an RP "Natural" Junior also available and it ought to be named "Dark Natural". It's darker of course and has a heavier earthy taste than the Connecticuts. Both are good; I prefer the latter.
This is a great gardening stick. For the longer jobs you'll want something a little bigger, but for watering the yard before going into the office or other small jobs - they are perfect.
While you're at the yard-work anyway, keep these humidified and smelling great by throwing in some of those falling-off rose petals you probably have around. Magnificent. A real treat while the summer lasts.

"Big cigar in small package"
If you find yourself short of the time required to smoke a full-sized cigar, just fire one of these up. The draw and burn were consistent ,while the taste is flavorful, without being overly spicy. A great alternative in my opinion.

"Decent little cigar."
Decent short smoke. You can't expect too much from this little cigar.

"Very tasty, but variable"
These "boxed bundles" vary a lot. The first were quite a dark color, a nice tight draw, lots of toasty, meaty, woodsy(?) flavor, and visible bloom. Med-Full in body and flavor, but definitely lighter body than the Sungrown Jr. The best cigar yet for under $1.50. My second batch had a lighter wrapper, somewhat milder, but still had a similar flavor. Approaches the 1990 in overall experience, but not quite the depth and subtlety.

"Big cigar taste, small cigar"
I am not a fan of small cigars. They never taste like a regular size one, at least not to me. I recently bought a box of Rockey Patel Juniors(maduro). I just lit one up right out of the box. The taste was fantastic, thought I was smoking one of his regular size cigars. Is there any of his larger cigars with that exact blend?

"Tasty, great price"
A lovely taste-bomb. Rich, chocolaty, chewy-tasting. Medium-bodied. Not too much of a throat-scraper. Just a hint of ammonia perhaps? Overall excellent flavor. The batch I got had quite a bit of white crystal plume coating them.
Padron? Almost twice the price, but smaller and not a contender.

"Good flavor...so-so burn/draw"
Some very iffy rolls here. The first one had a good sized hole down the center, and a very easy and uneven draw for the first third. But the flavor was very good once the burn evened out. Nutty, roasty and meaty with a little bite to the throat, not too dry and lots of mellow taste. Good value.

"Excellent 20 minute smoke"
I hate wasting a large ring cigar for a 20 minute dog walk at night. These juniors are a consistent, flavorful cigar that is enjoyable from beginning to end. Another winner from RP. I would recommend to anyone.

"Not Terrible but not Great ."
I bought these as a Monster Deal one day, as I was already a big fan of RP.I thought these would be great for a quick smoke at the office. These have an OK construction, the initial burn is very harsh and bitter. I had to keep spitting the first quarter inch. The smoke mellows and blooms into a peppery, full flavor. As the burn got closer to yje head of the stick it became harsh again. I expected a little more consistency from RP. I would not recommend these as there are better buys on the market. Try the Patron line it has some of the same full body taste at a friendlier price.
