These gorgeous cigars are seamlessly box-pressed in dark, even-hued Corojo or Maduro wrappers with a 'secret blend' of Honduran & Nicaraguan tobaccos that have been extra long-aged to perfection. The cigar is well-packed, and despite its firmness, the draw is exceedingly effortless. The smoke is thick, creamy and brimming with deep, dark, caramelized flavors on a semi-spicy finish. An outstanding cigar in every respect, and one of the few luxury cigars that are really worth the investment.

Now I love Rocky Patel's and had very high hopes for these however to my disappointment they did not deliver. Physically, they are absolutely beautiful. Wonderful construction and classy packaging make for a very nice appearance. But here is where my positive remarks end. The draw was slightly on the tight side and at times I felt as though I had to fight the cigar to get a good draw. Also, although the burn was okay on the first one I had, the second cigar canoed. For the taste, it is about what one would expect from corojo tobacco, it had a lot of zing and spice on the tongue, to the point of being almost excessive. Furthermore it was a very dry smoke giving a slightly sweet aftertaste at times. If you are going to smoke one of these, I encourage a drink of some sort to accompany it. Overall, this stick was just not my type. But if you like corojos, this could be the cigar for you. I hope mine will get better with time in the humidor. Now I just really want to try the Olde World Maduro for comparison.-Cjrioless
