"Stumbled at the Gate but Recovered"
This cigar had a most inauspicious beginning. After the slimmest of cuts, it began to unravel, but the band saved the day. Tried to tunnel, which isn't uncommon for an inexpensive 60 gauge, during the first third of the stick and it burned hot. But after that the cigar began somewhat of a comeback when the burn started to even out and finally developed a long ash during the second third of the stick. Though not perfect by any means, improvement really took effect during the last third for a strong finish. Draw was excellent but flavor only came through during the final half of the cigar and still was lacking. Not a total disaster but there are much better cigars out there for the same price or even cheaper than this one.
