"Mediocre - Only good for their price"
I bought these from cigarmonster.com when they were on sale. They arrived dried, and tasted mediocre. I would only recommend them because I got them for a dollar a piece.

"Decent everyday smoke"
I bought these on a two for one deal. Less than a buck a stick and the reviews seemed good enough to warrant a gamble. When I got the bundles, I put one in a humidor. The cigars seemed soft and spongy. The other bundle went in the closet as my humidors were now full. After a week, I started pulling them out and was glad to see they'd firmed up. I'm on the second bundle now and every one has been very good. Not overly complex in flavor. But burn, ash, smoke and flavor are consistent and pleasant. Alternating these with La Floridita (bundle) and Famous Dominicans make good every day smokes... I'll buy them again.

"Great "old-time" cigar"
This cigar takes in water very well and becomes nice and squigy in just a short time in the humidor. If you like a true cigar this is it! Not for the cigar smoker who likes the modern type cigar the is "clean" on the palette. This starts harsh and stays that way throughout the entire stick...this is a true cigar.

"Fond memories of Roly cigars"
A number of years ago, I was visiting friends in Miami when I heard there was a cigar convention in Coconut Grove. Interested, I went and paid my admission fee, but was kind of disappointed ... not very many well known cigar makers were present. But I made my way around and found that there were some interesting vendors selling a variety of cigar related products (vending machines, air-purifiers, etc.) but not many cigar makers and samples. Two memorable guys with cigars was one from "Big" cigars who had a perfecto shaped cigar, long before I started to see them reappear in the marketplace and a guy who was selling block packs (20-25) of "Roly" cigars. Never heard of them, but they had a certain appeal and at about 20 bucks for a bundle of Churchills, I thought I couldn't go too wrong. When I got back home I stuck them in the bottom drawer of my dresser and forgot about them until summer. That's when I started firing them up and smoking them while mowing the grass. Pretty soon, I started looking forward to doing the lawn, because that's when I was allowing myself to enjoy these magnificent (but plain and simple) sticks. I never forgot those ... I even kept the wrappings from the bundle ... occasionally taking a whiff of that deep rich tobacco scent left behind ... until a decade and a half later I got a computer and discovered where to get them. I don't know why the negative reviews ... maybe the blend has changed some, but I still enjoy them ... more the torpedos now. I think a little aging may help and taking a cue from David Matthews review of the Puros Indios from March 2002, Rolando Reyes, Sr. has a certain way he smokes his cigars ... it's a little long, but read what the reviewer repeats from an article he read ... you have to take your time when smoking these ... enough said.

"just OK"
Everything about this cigar is just ok. Burn ok, draw ok, construction ok,(some unravelling), taste ok, and aroma ok. Just dont pay more than a buck a stick, 75 cents would be better, because there are better," buck-a-sticks", out there.

"Good Bang For The Buck"
For an every day cigar when I'm noodling around on the computer or playing golf, these are perfect. You can let them go out & relight them without that bitter aftertaste. I also smoke Excalibur #1's & Chateau L's for my ''Sunday, go to meetin'`` cigars, and there is no comparison in appearance & construction. This is an ugly stepchild. But @ less than $1.50 a stick you can't go wrong.

"Good Smoke Priced Right"
I've smoked cigars for over 30 years. Brands come and go. Gain favor and fall from it. I smoked several bundles of Cetras last year and just got a bundle of Churchills. Half dozen in and they have all burned and drawn well. Mellow flavor for the morning when a Maduro is a bit much. Won't impress 'em at the club, but, wait, I don't go to the 'club'. Not for the snobs, just a good smoke.

"Very Good"
Was given a couple of Churchills by a friend. I had always wanted to try these just never got around to it.
I just placed an order for two bundles.
Obviously I liked them. Gret flavor, burn, construction and draw.
Thumbs up!
