The Tesoro Torpedo Natural is a mild-to-medium bodied cigar with a rich woody aroma that comes from a blend of premium Dominican Cuban-seed longfiller and a smooth Conn. shade wrapper. As 'everyday' cigars go, Tesoro has always been a good buy and the improved blend makes them even better.

Won a bundle in an auction, only paid 15.00 for them and wish that I had not bid that much. The construction is OK at best, the burn was decent, the taste was close to smoking air, the aroma reminded me of a skunk with a bad attitude. Overall a very poor cigar that I don't even think time in a humidor would help. I will not be ordering this brand again nor would I give them away to a friend if I wanted to remain their friend.less

I found that I gor a nice 1 1/2 ash out of the 5 I won at auction. The taste was okay and I had no problem keeping them lit. Perhaps they have improved since you guys rated them. A good daily stick for cheap.less

I purchased a 5 pack to see what they were like. I've only smoked two so far and both exhibited the following properties: I have to agree with others that they start out not that great, get a little better maybe an inch into it, then bad again about midway. The burn was a little uneven at first (probably why neither would stay lit) and settled out after I kept rotating it. I had to draw on it more than normal to keep it lit as well. I could only smoke both about half way before I just couldn't take anymore. LOL These were kept in my humidor (68%) for several months before I even smoked the first one. I doubt I'll buy any more.less

I've been smoking Romeo Y Julieta's and an occasional Punch 6x50's size. No longer wanting to pay $80 to $100 for a box every three weeks, I am sampling various bundles. This cigar was my first sample. Keep in mind I'm comparing to the cigars I've been smoking at over twice the price. I also found this cigar burned uneven through out the smoke, BUT so does Rom Y Jul & Punch. The draw was consistently good. Only slightly effected when the burn was uneven. The taste was consistent and a step above what I've been smoking. Maybe I have bad taste in cigars. I have two more to smoke before I make a final desision. The uneven burn,if it gets worse, may be the deciding factor.less
Rating Our Cigars When viewing the page for a specific box or bundle of cigars, you'll notice a "Customer Ratings" section below the Description/Reviews section. This is your chance to rate the cigar according to six criteria: Burn, Consistency, Draw, Appearance, Taste, and Construction.
How well did this cigar burn?
Do these cigars perform consistently?
Was the draw good? Too loose or tight?
How did the cigar look?
How was the flavor and aroma of the cigar?
How well was the cigar rolled?
Rate the cigar from one to ten (Poor to Excellent) by clicking the bar at the appropriate number. Once you've selected a rating for all six categories, click "Submit Your Ratings." If you submit more than one rating per cigar, your latest rating will overwrite your previous rating.
