I tried this smoke looking for a medium/mild ... moreI tried this smoke looking for a medium/mild smoke that is smooth, because I have started a quest for the smoothest cigar under 8.00$. The griffin started of with a little bite to it, but it mellowed out, it had a sweet kind of creamy, woody taste throughout. The griffin burned well and had a nice draw, but it just wasn't that smooth, it had a bite to it with a slight sting, to my throat, overall I would expect more from davidoff, maybe the maduro is smoother?

This cigar is hands down my favorite smoke. T... moreThis cigar is hands down my favorite smoke. The #500 is the perfect size for smoking while fishing and working. It is not overpowering at all and I can hold it in my mouth all day without becoming sick. It has a pleasant nutty flavor, excellent draw, pretty consistant burn and construction, and has a pleasant aroma. It is a very good smoke for beginners who want to taste the difference between a decent smoke and an exquisite one.
