Topper Breva Oscuro
"pretty darn good value"
Topper Old Fashioned Oscuro
enamored with the charm of an old american name and style of cigar, i bought these on a whim. Really not bad at all, they were very consistent with occasional hard draw but had a predictable and pleasant maduro sweet chocolatey flavor with a strong aroma. not a bad 30-40 minute smoke if you take your time. they stay lighted very well and are good with yard work and a cold beer.

"Great cigar for everyday smoke on a budget!"
Topper Old Fashioned Oscuro
I love Cohiba Black, but at almost $400 for a box of 25 they're out of my league. While looking for an alternative I came across Topper Old Fashioned, and boy am I impressed! Not as visually pleasing as a Cohiba, but for the price, who cares?!

"Not what I thought!"
Topper Breva Oscuro
The smoke was very mild and an interesting flavour that caused me to want to continue smoking. The burn was even, the draw was somewhat difficult at times. I did enjoy it, but the flavour went down quickly before the blunt. The gar overall was ok, but had a strong smell of cheap cigarette, and this shocked me since the taste was ok. This gar is definitely not what I thought.

"Disappointing"
Topper Old Fashioned Oscuro
OK, not expecting a Davidoff for $1.70, but this cigar (was it just a poor example) was a contrast in terms: solid dark and chocolaty flavors but a poor draw unless you sucked on it with vigor. Not sure about construction and whether this caused the issue. Applaud a local cigar mfr, but this example was a tough smoke.

"Best Everyday Cigar for the $$$"
Topper Old Fashioned Oscuro
These little Topper perfectos are a true wunderkind! Machine-made for goodness sake, yet oh so tasty. Dollar for dollar this is the best everyday cigar to be found. Being machine-made, construction isn't up to hand-made standards, but it's still well made. And the flavor is better than many a pricey handmade! I personally love their rustic appearance. I have probably smoked 200-300 of these little gems and I can honestly say I don't remember ever getting a bad one. Always draw good, sometimes the wrapper is a bit mis-aligned and you can see the binder showing through, but it doesn't hamper the smoke! Highly recommended. Topper rocks... one of my "go to cigars" for sure... in fact, think I'll go get me another box right now! Viva la Topper!!!!!

"Blown away!"
Topper Old Fashioned Oscuro
I recently read an article on the Topper family and how they are making cigars in New England. They've been around for over 115 years so they must be doing something right...right? Absolutely! The cigars look very rough but it adds to the character. The burn and flavor are excellent. Value aside....these are going definitely becoming regular additions to my humidor.

"Best choice for an every day smoke"
Topper Breva Oscuro 4 Pack
Burn is pretty good.
Some seam to be plugged a bit.
When not plugged draws well. not to easy not to ruff,
to most they look kinda gnarly, but I love the rustic look,
the taste is the strong point. very very tasty. if you have tried the tabamex this is very similar.
the construction besides occasional plugs is very good. no unraveling here.
bottom line great smoking value. extremely tasty and made in the USA. don't smoke anything else cowboys and girls

"Not bad for a buck"

I smoke $5 to $10 cigars and was looking for a small, cheap cigar that would smoke well and cost little for those times during the day when you want a cigar but don't have time to enjoy a real good cigar. After several attempts at smaller cigars, I gave up. The draw on most smaller cigars is terrible. Decided to try a machine made for that reason. The smoke well and the flavor is okay though a little rough. Don't like these as well as Muniemaker but they are second best for the money.
