For the love of good cigars, I have to agree with my cheap stogie puffing brother... These cigars are too good to just summarily "discontinue." The 500 maduro/habano needs to live on.

"Pleasant taste, draw a little hard"
Value Line Honduran 500 Robusto Habano
I like these cigars, but after sharing them at a cookout, I could see my fellow smokers having some difficulties with the draw and uneven burn.
We enjoyed them but they took some work. If the draw was easier, the burn problems would be more easily overlooked. Still, it's a good looking cigar with a smooth wrapper and pleasant taste, much better than one would expect for the price.
I think I'd like them better if the ring gauge were a 50-52, rather than a 48, if that would help the draw. Thanks.

"pretty good except for hard draw"
Value Line Honduran 500 Robusto Habano
tried another value line bundle after having sent back a Value line 100 bundle due to horrible taste. Well, these were pretty good, but would have been better except for a hard draw. If I tried to gently pinch the cigar to help loosen the filler up a little, the wrapper would come apart. I won't buy again mainly due to the hard draw and besides, there are alot of other smokes that are this good with out dealing with the draw issue.

"Better late then never!"
Value Line Honduran 500 Robusto
How come I only find the good daily smokes after they are discontinued? I really wasn't expecting much from this cigar for the price, but was surprised to find a well constructed, smooth burning and most of all, tasty little cigar.I sure do wish I had more room in my humidor!

"Suprisingly Good!"
Value Line Honduran 500 Robusto Habano
Give these at least two weeks in the humidor (unwrapped, of course), and you'll have yourself a very nice little cigar. Pleasant flavor, rich and hearty, and nice construction. The thick binder may cause the cigar to burn a little hollow near the end, but if I'm smoking 'em down that far, they must be pretty good!

A huge shame to see these discontinued. One of the best bundled cigars ever made. Thanks for the memories.

"Def not gonna burn your fingers"
Value Line Honduran 500 Robusto Habano
Out of the bundle i had 4 throw aways bcuz of tight or loose draw, which is pretty good for a bundle cigar.
Pre-light this cigar has a good smell, the moist tabacco almost tastes fruity. Fairly tight draw but definately smokeable. It has been in the humi only a few weeks, remains oily and firm. The maduro is not too dark but it really looks flawless for a cheap stick.
Upon lighting it, i noticed the good smell didn't carry through in the smoke. The smoke was smooth tight draw and all it was a pleasure to toke. But the flavor was lacking heavily. The smoke was not too thick didn't fill the room or anything but it had a fairly good aroma throughout. The ash was a muttled grey with ugly dark grey rings, but it held solidly. It burned pretty even for the first third no touchups needed at all.
After the first third the cigar released a little more flavor the smooth smoke got a little thick and started to tease my pallate with a woody taste. Right about halfway through this stick when i was ready for it to open up it got bitter. The taste began lingering in the back of my throat like a cheap vodka. I don't play this game so i smoked another inch or so and when this didnt cease i put it out. All in all this is a decent smoke for the price, like i said u cant smoke it to a nub, but you get a good rich smoke with a somewhat mild flavor and a smooth but short finish. I won't be stocking up on these but the 10 or so i have left will last me awhile because i wont be smoking them often.

"Muy enjoyable"

I wanted to try one of these I had stashed away to see if I should take advantage of the sale of items in this line. I can tell you, to me, it was very smooth, full mouth feel, voluminous smoke, nice interesting flavor, very well constructed. Normally I like bigger cigars, but it was just right for the circumstances. The robusto took just under an hour to smoke. A great buy for the price.
