"Too harsh for my taste"

I recently became a regular cigar smoker but haven't the income to justify spending a lot of money on cigars. The price was attractive and I had fond memories of smoking Rangers when I was a teen. But the Rangers I purchased recently fail to deliver a pleasant smoke due to its harsh quality. As in most things, one gets what one pays for.
