Alec Bradley American Classic cigars are an affordably-priced edition inspired by the cigars that were popular in America during the early part of the 20th century. A mild to medium-bodied blend of specially-aged Nicaraguan Estelí and Condega longfillers, Nicaraguan Jalapa binder, and a Honduran-grown Connecticut seed wrapper offer you a smooth, creamy and complex smoke with excellent balance, sweet cedar notes, and a distinct nutty flavor on the finish. I don t agree with the reviewer who gave it a 74. I think narrower ring cigars are just not in. Note the big brothers even get 100 ratings. I like it when I want a shorter smoke, although it s not as short as one would expect. It smokes beautifully and has a pleasant taste. A little on the soft side might be my only complaint. Not bad for such an inexpensive smoke.
Fast smoke, and nice performance. Flavors on the drawl were wood and pepper, the finish just a earthy wood. Taste was harsh to start with but mellowed about a third in. Drawl flavor were never particularly good, but the finish was. Dry mouthfeel. No real noticeable strength. Wrapper had one large patch and was a little lumpy looking but wasn t horrible.
