I took a chance on purchasing this cigar. I m glad I did. My daily go to cigar has been Perdomo Fresco. I see it as a great value. Now I add this to the list. The AB3 is another great value. This cigar is mild-medium in strength. The flavor is solid for Connecticut. I won t call it refined or smooth but it isn t poor in either of those ares either.Construction is decent while not top-notch. I have had no defects. Wrappers are slightly veined with light coloring. The draw is easy and consistent. Fillers are more to the loose side rather than tight. The result is a slightly faster smoke but that all results in a creamy smoke. The flavor is leather and hay with a slight nutty tone. There is no spice. It is easy to enjoy the smoke from head to band. I recommend a smooth bourbon or single malt scotch to bring out the subtle tones. I will order more AB3 cigars. They are a strong value. Watch for specials at Famous and you won t go wrong.
