Tom Lazuka built Insidious as Asylum’s easiergoing side, and the big-ring format lets that mellow Honduran blend settle in with extra cream and sweetness from the first light. An Ecuador Connecticut wrapper over Honduran binder and filler, plus the line’s lightly sweetened cap, rounds out a mild to medium smoke with notes of graham cracker, cashew, toasted cedar, and soft earth.
