Casa 1910 Soldadera Edition

The soldaderas were the brave women soldiers of the Mexican Revolution, and Casa 1910 Soldadera Edition pays tribute to three of the most remarkable among them—each vitola differing in blend and shape to honor their individual stories. At 5½x58, La Coronela approaches Gordo proportions and is finished with an attractive fan tail cap. Medium-bodied, the blend opens with a Habano wrapper over a Brazilian binder and Mexican-Dominican fillers for a complex, flavorful, and aromatic smoke with notes of cedar, cocoa, spices, and more throughout the session. Teniente Angela, known as "Lieutenant Angela," was a soldier and spy whose many talents proved invaluable to both Pancho Villa and Emiliano Zapata's guerrillas throughout the years of the revolution. This stunning 6x52 Toro features a Habano wrapper with a dual Mexican-Dominican binder and a Dominican-Nicaraguan filler blend for a rich, full-flavored, aromatic combination of wood, cocoa, nuts, earth, and black pepper. Sampetrina is a Robusto named for Petra Herrera Sampetrina, who famously disguised her name and gender to fight alongside Pancho Villa's forces in the field. A mellow start builds to a medium-bodied smoke via a silky Connecticut wrapper, Dominican binder, and Mexican-Dominican filler blend with notes of nutmeg, fresh baked bread, and oak in a marvelous mix of flavors and aromas. The Soldadera selection may be the most luxurious in the entire Casa 1910 catalog, making every vitola worthy of your personal collection. Add some to your next Famous Cigars order today.
