Erik Espinosa has never played it safe, and Wasabi by Espinosa is one of his boldest moves yet. Rolled at La Zona in Estelí, Nicaragua, this box-pressed robusto wraps a bright green Candela leaf around a dark Habano cap and a blend of closely guarded Nicaraguan tobaccos underneath. Medium to medium-full in strength, it opens with white pepper and lemongrass, drifts into sweet cream and a touch of vanilla, then closes with a lingering cedar note.
