Matilde Quadrata

Jose Seijas crafted the Quadrata as a bold step up from the approachable Matilde Renacer, wrapping it in a beautiful box-pressed Ecuadorian Habano leaf over a Dominican binder and aged Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers. Rolled at the Quesada factory, strength runs medium-full, landing it squarely between the Renacer and the powerhouse Oscura.

Drip-brewed coffee and powdered dark chocolate lead the way, with cedar, toasted nuts, cinnamon, and a lively white pepper building complexity through every third. A subtle citrus sweetness pops up mid-smoke, and the finish is long, smooth, and satisfying.
