Nick Perdomo built this blend around a bold idea: take a 100% Nicaraguan puro packed with tobaccos from Jalapa, Condega, and Estelí, then tame it with a silky U.S. Connecticut Shade wrapper. The result is a medium to full-bodied smoke that punches harder than its light, creamy wrapper lets on, rolled at the Tabacalera Perdomo factory in Nicaragua. Right out of the gate you get warm bread and buttery cream, followed by cedar, toasted nuts, and a peppery tingle that keeps things lively all the way to the nub.
It's the kind of cigar that pairs beautifully with a cup of coffee in the morning or a chocolate stout in the evening. An easygoing smoke with real character underneath, grab a bundle or a box and keep them close.
