Noel Rojas drew inspiration from the marinated pork dish that's been a Mexican street food staple for generations, and the blend follows suit. An Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Mexican San Andres binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers brings the whole concept to life.

Medium to full in strength, it opens with red pepper and toasted cedar, then settles into espresso, dark brown sugar, and a savory, meaty quality that makes the name feel entirely earned. A thread of citrus and sweet spice keeps things lively all the way to the nub. At this price point, it's one of the better values in the boutique space, and you really can't miss with any of the vitolas.
