Southern Draw Manzanita

Early in 2020, Robert Holt approached a handful of retailers with an unusual proposition: buy a cigar sight unseen. No name, no tasting notes, no details beyond the fact that Tabacalera AJ Fernandez would roll it. Famous took the gamble, one of just ten retailers willing to trust Southern Draw's reputation without a safety net. Our history with the Holts ran deep, and their boutique track record spoke louder than any sales sheet.

The bet paid off. Manzanita arrived loaded with nuts, sweet spice, red pepper, and cream, a medium-bodied blend that justified every ounce of faith placed in it. The Habano Hybrid wrapper glows with a dark reddish tint, the inspiration for its name—"little apple" in Spanish.

Beyond the flavor, Manzanita carries purpose. A portion of every box sold supports the First Nations Development Institute, funding food and health services for Indigenous Americans and their families. Smoking one means enjoying nuanced Nicaraguan tobacco while contributing to a cause greater than the moment. Add a box and light up something that tastes as good as it feels.
