Kyle Gellis resurrected La Hacienda from the old Cuban marca archives and rebuilt it in Nicaragua as a 100% Aganorsa puro. Rolled at the TABSA factory in Estelí, it wears a semi-oily Corojo 99 wrapper from the Jalapa Valley over a Corojo 99 and Criollo 99 binder and Corojo 99 filler. Two sizes are available: a 5 5/8 x 46 Superiores and a 5 1/2 x 52 Gran Robusto.
Medium in strength, La Hacienda opens with cedar, graham cracker, and a kick of black pepper, then settles into toasted nuts, sweet prune, and dried fruit as you work through the second half.
