E.P. Carrillo Cardinal Impact cigars are made for EPC Cigar's "Classic" Series, and represent two of the best full-bodied smokes in their class. Box-pressed and blended in natural and maduro, the natural boasts a savory Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, while the maduro has a lusciously dark and sweeter-tasting U.S. Connecticut Broadleaf - two wrappers Ernesto loves to work with (and he gets some of the best of each, too). The other difference between them is the binder. The E.P. Carrillo Cardinal Impact Sumatra has Nicaraguan fillers and binder, whereas the Cardinal Impact Maduro uses Nicaraguan fillers with an Ecuadorian binder.
The smoke is voluminous and creamy issuing earthy-spicy flavors with notes of raisins, dark chocolate and some sweet tobacco elements in a medium-plus to full-bodied profile.
Both blends are offered in four sizes indicating their respective ring sizes - 52 (Robusto), 54 (Toro), 56 (Toro Grande) and 60 (Magnum) - and sold in boxes of 20 cigars, 5-packs, and singles as they become available.
Their complex flavor makes them ideal for seasoned cigar smokers, but the choice of wrappers and reasonable price-per-smoke opens the field to an even wider audience. Add some of these fine, humidor-worthy cigars to your Famous Smoke shopping cart today.
