I picked this up on a whim when it was on sale, for the price, I honestly cant complain, it is built sturdy, and the blade is extremely sharp. I now keep one or two around as somewhat throw away cutters that I can give away to a friend or family member if they decide to start smoking cigars as they give a MUCH nicer cut than those super cheap ones, wont break the bank, and are nice and slim. they also make great back up cutters, or are nice if you dont have a lot of room in your pockets. If you dont own one, they are definitely worth picking up and trying out!
I picked this up on my last order because I liked the style of it and the simplicity of it. Thankfully, the cutting acting is very good, and it has been able to cut any sized cigar I've put through it thus far. It has that nice elegantly intimidating look about it, and while it may not be that thin to keep in a slim wallet, it is very easily pocketable. Well worth the money.
Extraordinary precision is required in order to get a clean cut.
Velcro works much better!
Barely worth the 10 bucks I payed, glad I got it half off
These cutters are dull and keeps getting stuck open. Don t waste your money.
JUST SET THE BRICK IN THE TRAY. IT DOES NOT TAKE UP MUCH ROOM AND YOUR CIGARS ARE IN THE BITTOM.
The Brick is sold at a great price and it does the trick, but it does not want to stay stuck on my humidor lid. It came with a thin metal slab that is supposed to stick to the humidor (I placed it on the lid), but it falls after a few hours. I keep having to restick it. Then, the magnetic slab that is glued to the Brick would detach from the Brick and I would have to reattach the magnetic slab to the Brick.... I know it was only 9 bucks, but it's getting old! I'm afraid to purchase glue to fix the issues here, but I don't want glue fumes in my humidor. I'll live with it unless you guys have any suggestions.
Not worth the money. I wouldnt pay $2 for this. You get much less for what you pay for. You might as well use a toe clipper .
When my Xikar and Grip both died on the same day, I grabbed one of these for cheap at auction. Nice looking cutter, compact size, seems well made, and then I tried to actually cut a cigar with it. The one I received doesn?t cut, it chops and smashes. Seems the moving blade is very dull, while the fixed blade is very sharp. When you try to make a cut, the dull moving blade, instead of making a cut, just pushes the cigar against the tiny, sharp bottom blade, resulting in a smashed stick. Even if the moving blade was sharp, I think this thing would still end up smashing sticks, as the fixed blade is way too small for this cutter to work properly (compare it to the properly designed Xikar Slim, which I think this manufacturer unsuccessfully attempted to copy).
