With the rights having been purchased by My Father Cigars in 2019, the classic Fonseca Cigars brand now has a new home. The six-vitola line, now formally referred to as Fonseca by My Father, is a Nicaraguan puro that uses a plush, shade-grown Corojo 99 Rosado wrapper.
Like the Cuban-made Fonseca brand, the cigars will be wrapped in tissue paper with the exception of the Cedros size, which will be wrapped in cedar.
Described as being “rich with flavors of earth and spice,” the blend clearly stays with the medium-bodied flavor profile of the classic Fonseca brand, which cigar lovers have come to love over the years.
A marvelously well-balanced treat for cigar smokers of every experience, all of the sizes are offered in 20-count boxes, while the Cosacos are presented in five-count tins. If you want to taste how the master ligadores under Don Pepin’s guidance have turned an iconic Cuban cigar into a legendary Nicaraguan blend, add some Fonseca by My Father to your cart now.
