Fosforo Cigars is a relatively new boutique cigar distributed by Pospiech (Powstanie Cigars) and blended by Jose Palacios of Garmendia and Fosforo’s Jeff Mouttet. The “Maduro” cigars listed here are the company’s inaugural blend and identified by their dark Ecuador Habano Oscuro wrappers over Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Condega and Jalapa. The result is a full-bodied smoke with well-balanced notes of earth, espresso, and dark chocolate.
Those looking for a more medium-bodied cigar and an equally unique smoking experience will appreciate the Fosforo Connecticut Limitada Corona Gorda. The Nicaraguan binder and fillers are surrounded by a plush Ecuadorian Connecticut capa. Altogether, the smoke is well-balanced, complex and creamy with a subtle spice flavor that is present from end to end. Also note that only 2,400 of these Corona Gordas were produced.
Fosforo cigars are presented in butcher paper-wrapped bundles of 10 cigars and are reasonably priced. If you’ve been looking for something new, Fosforo could be the cigar for you. Add some to your cart today.
