Decent budget cigar. Well worth the price of admission. Hope it’s offered again when I’m ready to buy.
Well made, even burning, easy draw and a good flavor. Kind of fresh dried hay to start, add a slight touch of spiciness that goes to hints of creaminess later on. I like them and will likely purchase more in the future. First one casually smoked lasted an hour and 20 minutes. Some may get more smoke time, others less depending on how you like to smoke.
Well made, easy light, easy draw. Good flavor, maybe medium strength. Good quality for a budget bundle, though it is not strictly long filler as the bundle states. It s more of a light mix of predominantly long filler with short filler rounding it out, with the short filler being what appears to be large and small trimmings but no chopped filler. It s worth a rebuy when i get down to 5 or 6 remaining.
Very surprised, Great Smoke at a real reasonable price. In my opinion the cigars as good as a lot of the 7 $8 cigars out there. great everyday cigar
Got this as part of a sampler. Short/mixed filler junk. Too loosely packed. Won t stay lit. Glowing chunks of ash just fall out of it. Tunnels. Looks nice though. True pig in a dress.
Nothing exceptional about this stick. Mild taste. Runs and needs to be straightened out. No big deal. Soft construction. In short, for what I paid, it is a GREAT golf course cigar.
Construction is good, lights easy, usually has a good draw. Flavor starts like dry grass, moves toward cream as you smoke it down. Have had these many times, they soften with humidity and i have to dry box them 2 or 3 days to get a consistent draw and burn.
I tried a Robusto GH2 and it seemed pretty good, but these toro gordo s have not been as good. I would not recommend these cigars unless that s all you can afford. They are not good cigars, but for the price it beats not having a smoke. I would rate them as fair. Not horrible, but not up to my standards.
Lifeless smoke. No flavor or body like inhaling air.
I ordered these after being pleasantly surprised after smoking the GH2 Habano thinking they were some of the best value sticks I ve had. The Connecticut disappointed me with very poor construction and inconsistent burn. The flavor is on par with other Budget conn on the market and even though the sticks still advertise long filler you can tell that these are cuban sandwiches. If you re looking for a cheap Connecticut humidor filler there are much better options within that same price range.
