H. Upmann cigars continue their tradition of excellence in an affordably-priced, medium-bodied selection. Rolled with sun-grown wrappers cultivated in Ecuador (renowned for growing the world's sweetest, most flavorful wrapper), this top-grade leaf surrounds a hand-selected broadleaf binder and a blend of fine Nicaraguan and Honduran fillers to create a fuller-flavored cigar with tons of complexity. Cherish the gifts of the sun by ordering some of these fine cigars now.
Great cigar especially when on sale. Mine were very consisistant, with even burn time at 40 mi. Flavor profile is very down the middle, very little spice, mostly toffee tobacco and earthy flavors for me. Did not get any bitterness. Aroma was very pleasant.
I tried my recent purchase of H.Upmann cigars 7x54 and a nice smoke, easy draw and even burn all the way down-rjc
Bought these before, keep coming back for more!
Ive been a big fan of La Gloria Cubana cigars for years, but decided to try these Upmann Sun Grown Magnums. I bought a box and after the first one, decided this was my new favorite. Excellent construction. great taste. Gets better with every inch.
Absolutely love this stick in the morning with a cup of Sumatra blend coffee.
I have always ignored H. Upmann don t know if its the name that annoys me or what . But every time I smoke one of these, and I have smoked 3 of these sun grown beauties in the last 2 weeks, I am becoming more convinced that this is one of the finest cigars in the world. Great smooth burn, great taste- hint of sweetness, that leaves the taste buds feeling terrific. Truly an outstanding cigar. I am surprised it is not rated higher by a couple of the reviewers here. A must have for my humidor.
I bought a sampler containing 1 short Churchill H Upmann Sun Grown. The only thing disappointing about this stick is that there was only one in the sampler. Had a slight burn issue that was easy to touch up. Great flaviors for a rally great price. I plan on buying more.
The ACID Toast has been dethroned. This is my new favorite stick! I love the heavy cedar and leather tones and the copious amounts of flavorful smoke! H. Upmann has knocked it out of the park.
Pre light draw had a bit sweetness. Slight licorice taste to me. Creamy smoke on 1/3 light sweetness with light pepper finish. Rich sweet aroma with lots of smoke. I cut only a bit on the torpedo tip for a slighter tight draw cause I tend to draw hard on my smokes. Cuban roots defiantly in this one. Very impressed with the construction. Flawless on the ones I received. Took off all the cellos and bands. Currently smoking one and put away the rest to age. For the price, this one is a definite winner in my book. I did smoke mine while it d raining so humidity was at a 100. Slightly affected burn and consistently.
Upmann never disappoints and so it is with the Corona sun grown. Flavor 26% aroma plus mouthful of smoke brings real satisfaction and relaxation. Draw is medium tight but not at all a hassle. Smoked five before writing the review and will certainly buy and smoke more. Great cigar!
