Intemperance Whiskey Rebellion 1794 cigars are a full-bodied, full-flavored edition created by Skip Martin of RoMa Craft Tobac. This selection pays tribute to the historic protest against the tax on spirits imposed by Alexander Hamilton to pay back the Revolutionary War debt, and each size is named for one of our young nation's patriots. A hearty blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers held together by an Indonesian Bezuki binder leaf are seamlessly rolled in a dark, oily, and high-priming Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. The smoke is ultra-smooth with well-balanced layers of earth, charred wood, sweet and peppery spices, espresso, and some pleasant floral notes. If you enjoy dark, complex, full-bodied cigars, this is one rebellion well-worth joining.
This my go-to everyday cigar. Everyone that I introduce it to, ends up surprised and loving it. It s priced really well, enough so that I always carry an extra on me to give in case I run into another cigar brother/sister. I always try to keep a box in stock in the humidor...
Intemperance is one of my favorites, the Whiskey Rebellion has great flavor I just wish that I ordered the rubusto.
I was not expecting a lot when I lit this one up but i came away very impressed. Wonderful flavor and a pleasant draw. Fine, even burn. Give them a whirl.
I have bought a half a dozen of these samplers and boxes of the Hamilton size. They are consistently superb. Construction is always great. Whiskey Rebellions may be a little strong for some but they hit the mark for me.
Great for a day off and a bourbon or 2!
THIS IS A SMALL STICK WITH A KICK. OT OF FLAVOR.
