Introducing Isla Del Cocodrilo cigars, a sentimental tribute to the island of Cuba from Warped Cigars founder, Kyle Gellis. Skillfully handcrafted at Tabacalera La Isla in the Dominican Republic, the line takes its name, “island of the crocodile,” from a nickname for Cuba which some say is shaped like a crocodile.
Isla del Cocodrilo features a three nation, medium-bodied blend starting with a richer-tasting desflorado Ecuador Habano wrapper. For this leaf, the plant's flowers have been removed, or “topped,” prior to harvesting to enhance the leaf’s strength and flavor. Below that sits a core of select Nicaraguan filler clenched in a dual binder of Ecuador Habano 2000 and Brazilian Arapiraca. Vivid notes of cedar, earth, baking spices, and more ensue in this well-balanced smoke with some noteworthy complexity.
Offered in two vitolas, a 55/8x46 Corona Gorda and a 6x52 Toro, both sizes are presented in handsome boxes of 15 cigars with the image of Cuba’s reptile-shaped island on top. Perfect for the seasoned smoker, not to mention the hordes of Kyle Gellis fans seeking another memorable smoking experience, add a box of Isla de Cocodrilo to your cart today.
