Java Red are among the most enticing additions to the Java Cigars stable. Made for Rocky Patel by Drew Estate, their flavor profile is identified by the distinctive presence of cherries, plus notes of dark chocolate and roasted coffee. These sweet treats are presented mostly in box-pressed formats (check out the Java Red Wafe, too, with its extreme trunk press shape). The only exception is the Petit Corona, which is a round parejo. What makes the Java Red even more alluring is how well it pairs with a number of aperitifs and cordials like Cointreau, Campari, Grand Marnier, and the like, long-aged Tawny Ports, Espresso or Cappuccino. If you're a fan of infused cigars, Java Red will not disappoint. Add some to your next order.
These cigars are the best. Smooth draw, even burn, and a terrific aroma and flavor. My favorite of the multiple greats from Drew Estate
The coffee flavor was different for me. I liked it!
Today at Cutter’s I was looking for a sweet chocolate stick and Tanner recommended this and it is the best!
Great cigar... nice subtle flavor and a nice smelling smoke. I cannot find this cigar being sold anywhere locally...it’s nice to be able to at least purchase it at a somewhat fair price from Famous online. Other online sellers either do not have lower quantities or are more expensive when you factor in shipping costs this is same of Famous .
Has cherry sweeten tip and a hint of coffee
by far the best cigar ive had...had with beer, love it....had it with hot coffee, LOVE IT x100...so damn good
my everyday amazing cigar here in salt lake city. for a crazy reason without provocation, i expected less...a cordial cherry it is NOT!!! I planned just to try it...but now it s a favorite.
Really well made cigar with an open draw, sharp burn, and a strong ash. I didn t pick up any infused flavors like I was expecting from a Java but I ll say that it paired perfectly with espresso
I am a big fan of the java lines, but this one fella bit short of the others.
The “red” series are supposed to be coffee flavored with cherry and chocolate notes. Opening the package and smelling the cigar, I get a strong cherry chocolate cake flavor. The unlit draw is also similar and quite pleasant. Once lit, the cigar puts off a ton of smoke, and is fine, but all of the coffee, Cherry, and chocolate flavors are gone. It becomes a very single-noted tobacco flavor. It’s not bad, just not what I would get a Java Red for. Mine also had a super loose draw. This was my first box-press, so not sure if that’s related or not. Overall, probably will not be getting again.
